When people ask if I go to enjoy the music, I do, but I enjoy the images afterwards even more. It is a photo shoot I have always dreamed of, but I ended up paying to take the pictures instead of getting paid to take the pictures. Crazy, I know, but when you want something bad enough you will do anything to get or do it.
Amway has allowed me to do this with my favorite camera. I bought a Nikon Coolpics for concerts but I was not pleased with the results and the battery died within 1 hour, so this was not a reliable camera for me. Then one day I noticed someone carrying a camera like mine in and out of the venue. So I asked if it was ok for me to bring in my Canon and they said “as long as the lens does not extend out, and you are not transporting it in a large case”. Oh YEA!!! That baby has been brought with me ever since. And as long as the seats are good, it will still come with me. .
When you are at concert the lighting is perfect, of course they pay great money for this. So every image I get is perfect when it comes out of the camera. This makes me happy because I don’t spend that much time on editing. Images are usually posted in hours after a concert.
I also take time shooting at a concert, I try to remember my rules of thirds, unless the person singing is right in front of me. Then due to excitement and adrenalin all I have learned flies out the window and as Gary Fong likes to say “I Spray and Pray” hey I am human, and when P!nk is within arm’s length of me I become the one handed shooter. Hey Spraying and Praying worked for me that night!
With that being said here are some shots from that night’s concert! Enjoy!! <3
A few weeks ago I had the privilege of shooting this beautiful family, it was a blast putting together the backdrop for the shoot. Yes those are Orlando Sentinels on the wall. Here is a few of my favorites from the shoot.
Even Lee made a friend at the dog park! I think he was in love!!

Two week ago I was asked to shoot a small wedding, it was a sweet and personal get togeather. Quite diffrent from most, and included a beautiful unity ceremony with Charlene's daughter. Here are a few of the images that were taken from that day, and Charlene, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day! <3
